Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that you fully understand the business strategy and positioning of the AVANI brand, and that you are able to effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace.
- Maintain a personal up-to-date knowledge on all AVANI+ product and service offerings, and the products, services, rates and new developments of key competitors, and an awareness of general industry trends.
- Maintain an updated information on brand websites, Handy, Factsheet, presentation, etc.
- Assist the corporate Marketing team in all marketing projects.
- Create marketing collaterals according to brand standard – signage, advertisement, flyers, etc.
- Maintain and continually improve the hotel library of photography, video and other electronic media.
- Achieve all personal performance objectives, working with department leadership to ensure these objectives are met.
- Practice effective cost control and adhere to internal procedures for approval of expenditure.
- Liaise effectively with all operational colleagues, providing support and information to ensure accurate delivery of our promise.
- Ensure that all paperwork associated with the work of the department is processed quickly and efficiently, including letters, emails, and reports.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining client databases, and using those databases in promotions and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, or Digital Marketing, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or luxury/lifestyle industry.
- Experience in an international hotel brand is preferred.
- Proven experience in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Technical Skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media platforms, website content management, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Experience creating and managing marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, signage, and promotional materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of photography, videography, and digital asset management is preferred.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance and competitor activities.
- Knowledge of current market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
