BMS Engineer - Data Center (Thailand)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BMS Engineer - Data Center (Thailand) to operate, maintain, and optimize Building Management Systems within a data center environment. The role focuses on BMS performance, HVAC/cooling controls, critical alarms, energy efficiency, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, integrate, and commission BMS solutions for data center systems.
• Program and integrate BMS controllers such as Siemens, Honeywell, and Schneider Electric.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BMS systems, alarms, and critical incidents.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS hardware and software.
• Support monitoring and control of HVAC, cooling, electrical, UPS, and fire safety systems.
• Work with facilities, IT, vendors, and contractors to resolve system issues and support upgrades.
• Analyze BMS data and trends to improve energy efficiency and PUE.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, as-built drawings, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO, ASHRAE, and data center standards.
• Support emergency procedures and train operations teams on BMS protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of BMS experience, preferably within data centers or other critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, or Tridium Niagara.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and SCADA.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls, electrical systems, cooling, and fire suppression.
• Familiarity with TIA-942 and ASHRAE TC 9.9.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure during critical incidents.
• Vendor-specific BMS certifications/training are an advantage.
• CEM or OSHA certification is an added advantage.
