Boardman III

Job Summary

To operate and monitor production processes from the control room (board) with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance. The Boardman ensures smooth and continuous operations by coordinating with field operators, responding to process deviations, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires an open-minded approach to problem-solving, a positive attitude in team collaboration, and a commitment to upholding quality and food safety standards in every shift.

Technical/Functional

• Operate all equipment and perform all duties in accordance with current WI and cGMP requirements.
• Operate, control and problem solving all equipment on PCS, PLC, SCADA. And the shop floor.
• Accurately record and maintain all necessary records in accordance with current WI.
• Support efforts within the process and utility areas as necessary to maintain proper production flow. Responsibility for shift operations, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity.
• Respond to process deviations and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of process parameters and events
• Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping in the plant and other areas as directed by supervision.
• Work upon supervisor's assignments
  
  

Safety/Health/Environment/Quality and Food Safety

• Support the plant's safety, health and environmental programs and industrial hygiene programs.
• Participate and commit to safe work practices, EHS programs, training and Emergency drills to increase safety self awareness.behavioral based safety, Hazard Recognition, Hazard identification, Environmental Aspect and emergency response activities as required.
• Participate in site quality programs, behavioral based quality&food safety activities.
• Comply with external and internal requirements and regulations (EHS IFF Standard, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, cGMP&HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, etc) & Sedex compliance
• Follow cGMP&HACCP Practice.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or malfunctions. Participate in emergency responds team.
