Building Management System Engineer - Data Center Operations (Bangkok, Thailand)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) within the data center.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot BMS controllers and systems, including Siemens, Honeywell, and Schneider Electric.
• Monitor system performance, alarms, and critical incidents to ensure stable operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve technical issues related to HVAC, cooling, electrical, and environmental control systems.
• Work closely with facilities teams, vendors, and contractors to resolve system issues and support upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system performance.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and data center operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of BMS experience, preferably in data centers or other critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, or Tridium Niagara.
• Good knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, and cooling infrastructure.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of data center standards and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and respond to critical incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

• BMS vendor-specific training or certifications.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification.
• OSHA safety certification or equivalent.
