Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst — Product Specialist for Quantium's Product, Client Analytics & Support Team. This role acts as the product and accounting workflow specialist for Quantium's platform, supporting Sales, Client Solutions and Project Managers where deeper product expertise is required.

The core responsibilities are developing deep knowledge of Quantium's product, understanding client requirements, configuring demo and test environments, supporting product scoping, helping Project Managers clarify requirements, and resolving complex accounting, workflow, configuration, and technical questions.

It suits someone with a strong accounting background and an interest in financial technology, product configuration, implementation, and solving complex client workflow problems.

Job Description

  • Develop deep expertise across Quantium's product modules, accounting workflows, configuration options, and implementation logic.
  • Support the Sales team by understanding prospect requirements and preparing demo or test environments that reflect relevant client use cases.
  • Assist Sales with product-related preparation, including workflow analysis, solution scoping, and clarification of system capabilities.
  • Work with Sales to ensure client discussions and demonstrations are supported by accurate product setup and practical solution design.
  • Support the Client Solutions team in resolving complex product, accounting, workflow, configuration, and technical questions.
  • Assist Project Managers in gathering, clarifying, and documenting client requirements.
  • Help translate client needs into practical product configurations, workflows, implementation approaches, or customization requirements.
  • Support UAT preparation and issue clarification, including helping determine whether issues are related to configuration, data, accounting treatment, workflow, or product functionality.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, configuration notes, user guides, product notes, test environment instructions, and client-facing materials.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to identify product gaps, limitations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing by helping Sales, Client Solutions, and Project Managers better understand product capabilities and recommended workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Accounting background is required.
  • Experience with fund accounting, investment accounting, financial reporting, or private markets operations is strongly preferred.
  • 1–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial systems, software implementation, client solutions, product configuration, or business/system analysis.
  • Strong ability to understand accounting workflows, client requirements, and system configuration logic.
  • Experience supporting client requirement gathering, implementation, UAT, product testing, or demo/test environment setup is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to complex accounting, workflow, configuration, or technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems and workflows clearly to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively across Sales, Client Solutions, Project Managers, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Interest in financial technology and commitment to delivering practical, high-quality client solutions.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
