Business Analyst

Business Analyst | AI Transformation | Non-Life Insurance | Immediate Start

This is an initial short term contract with plans to extend.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on an AI transformation programme at a leading non-life insurer.

This is a high-visibility engagement at the very beginning of its journey. You will be the voice of the business, working with senior stakeholders and technology and data teams to shape where and how AI is applied across core insurance operations from day one.

What you will do

• Run discovery workshops with senior business stakeholders to uncover pain points and identify high-value AI use cases across the general insurance value chain
• Capture and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Map current-state and target-state processes, highlighting where automation and AI can add real impact
• Build business cases and help prioritise use cases based on value, feasibility and risk
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers and system analysts to make sure solutions meet business needs
• Support UAT, change management and adoption across the business
• Prepare clear, concise documentation and steering committee materials for senior audiences

What you will bring

• Available to start immediately
• A consulting background with a Big Four or comparable top-tier firm
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation, digital or technology programmes
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to financial services; non-life or general insurance experience (claims, underwriting, pricing, policy servicing) is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with data, analytics, automation or AI/ML initiatives, and the ability to speak confidently with technical teams
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the polish expected of a client-facing consultant
