About Zopper Zopper is an InsureTech player revolutionizing embedded insurance with its API based technology solutions.We embed relevant insurance offerings in the value chain of various industries ranging from e-commerce, retail, OTAs, NBFCs, MFIs, healthcare, and so on. Role Review

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to establish and grow strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, and alumni associations. The primary objective of this role is to build a strong network of educational institutions and generate high-quality business leads through institutional collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard schools, colleges for strategic partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships with the key decision-makers.
  • Generate qualified leads by creating institutional tie-ups and partnership programs.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with educational institutions to establish long-term collaborations.
  • Develop and execute engagement activities.
  • Work closely with internal Sales and Operations teams to ensure timely follow-up and lead conversion.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of institutional partnerships and consistently achieve lead-generation targets.
  • Track partnership performance and submit regular MIS reports on meetings, tie-ups, leads generated, and conversions.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the institutional network across assigned territories.
  • Represent the organization at education events, conferences, and networking forums.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, B2B Sales, or Strategic Alliances.
  • Prior experience working with schools, colleges, universities, EdTech companies, training institutes, or organizations dealing with institutional partnerships is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of building partnerships and generating business leads.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet institutions and partners.
