Chief Financial Officer

Polymer Converting for Automotive Parts & Accessories Business

Location: Thailand Headquarters

We are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance and Accounting function for a Polymer Converting for Automotive Parts & Accessories business headquartered in Thailand, with overseas subsidiaries and joint ventures.

The ideal candidate is a strategic CFO with strong automotive industry experience, preferably with OEM exposure. The candidate should have proven capability in international finance leadership, manufacturing finance, overseas subsidiary supervision, joint venture governance, financial control, business performance management, and strategic business partnering.

This role is suitable for a finance leader who can work closely with top management, influence senior stakeholders, support customer and partner negotiations, and drive profitable growth across a complex international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall financial strategy, accounting governance, financial planning, and business performance management for the business group.
  • Supervise Finance and Accounting functions across Thailand headquarters, overseas subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the top management on business growth, profitability, investment, pricing, capital allocation, and risk management.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business planning, and performance review across all entities.
  • Strengthen financial reporting, consolidation, internal controls, compliance, audit, tax, transfer pricing, and subsidiary governance.
  • Support automotive and OEM customer programs, including quotation costing, tooling investment, contract profitability, pricing analysis, and commercial risk review.
  • Lead cash flow, treasury, working capital, foreign exchange exposure, banking relationships, and funding requirements.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure, business expansion, restructuring, joint venture, M&A, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Act as a representative of the top management in selected dealings with key customers, OEM customers, strategic partners, joint venture partners, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Build and develop a high-performance Finance and Accounting organization across headquarters and overseas entities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • At least 5–7 years in a senior finance leadership role, such as CFO, Finance Director, Regional Finance Director, or Business Unit Finance Head.
  • Strong experience in the automotive industry is required.
  • Experience in automotive parts, automotive accessories, polymer converting, engineered materials, or manufacturing business is highly relevant.
  • OEM experience is preferred, especially in customer programs, quotation costing, tooling investment, long-term supply contracts, and program profitability.
  • Experience managing Finance and Accounting functions across overseas subsidiaries, joint ventures, or regional operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, treasury, tax, internal control, audit, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions.
  • Experience working directly with CEO, Managing Director, Board, Executive Committee, or regional headquarters.
  • Experience in business turnaround, restructuring, M&A, joint venture governance, or international expansion is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese or Japanese would be an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 30%.
