Civil Manager

The Civil Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise civil and structural engineering activities for construction projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, calculations, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams on engineering matters.
- Provide technical solutions for foundations, RC structures, earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities and underground services.
- Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, design changes and site technical issues.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, Singapore Standards and statutory requirements.
-Support project planning, construction methodology, variations, remeasurement and claims.
- Lead and mentor engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables and as-built documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil construction.
• At least 5 years in a Manager role.
• Experience in infrastructure, industrial, MRT, utilities, roads, drainage, or marine projects.
• Experience managing projects valued above SGD 5 million is preferred.

Software Skills

• AutoCAD (basic review capability)
