Climate Change & GHG Consultant / Junior Consultant (2 Positions)

Location: Bangkok

Join us to work on real-world climate action projects at both national and corporate levels.

We are looking for two motivated professionals to join our Climate & Sustainability team. You will work on consulting projects for government agencies and private-sector clients covering climate change, greenhouse gas (GHG) management, carbon footprint, carbon markets, MRV, Net Zero, decarbonization, and related sustainability areas.

The positions offer opportunities to build professional expertise in climate and carbon consulting, with a potential career pathway toward becoming a qualified GHG validator/verifier.

We are recruiting for two levels:

1. Climate Change & GHG Consultant — 1 Position

Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate should be able to independently manage assigned workstreams, coordinate directly with clients and stakeholders, prepare technical deliverables, and provide guidance to junior team members.

2. Junior Climate Change & GHG Consultant — 1 Position

Approximately 0–2 years of experience, including fresh graduates with strong potential. We are looking for someone with strong analytical ability, good English communication skills, curiosity, and a strong growth mindset. The candidate will be supported to develop expertise in CFO, CFP, T-VER, ISO 14064, MRV, climate policy, and government consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work on climate change and GHG consulting projects for government agencies, including projects related to climate policy, national GHG management, MRV systems, mitigation measures, carbon markets, and climate action.
Provide GHG and carbon consulting services to private-sector clients, including Corporate Carbon Footprint (CFO), Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP), GHG inventories, Net Zero and decarbonization strategies, T-VER, and other carbon-related projects.
Collect, review, analyze, and manage activity data and GHG emission data from clients and project stakeholders.
Conduct GHG calculations, emission factor research, data analysis, benchmarking, and technical assessments in accordance with relevant standards and methodologies.
Support and/or lead the preparation of technical proposals, project reports, presentations, workshops, stakeholder consultations, and client meetings, depending on experience level.
Research emerging developments in climate change, carbon markets, GHG standards, regulations, and sustainability frameworks in Thailand and internationally.
Coordinate with government agencies, private-sector clients, technical experts, and multidisciplinary project teams.
For the Consultant-level position, independently manage assigned project tasks, communicate directly with clients, review junior-level work, and support the development of junior team members.
Continuously develop technical and professional capabilities in climate change, GHG management, carbon markets, and sustainability.
Candidates with suitable capability and interest may have the opportunity to develop toward GHG validation and verification roles, subject to applicable competency, independence, and impartiality requirements.

Qualifications

· Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Energy, Climate Change, Sustainability, Natural Resources, or other relevant fields. Both Bachelor's and Master's degree holders are welcome.

· For the Consultant position, approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in climate change, GHG accounting, environmental consulting, sustainability, energy, carbon markets, ESG, or related fields is preferred.

· For the Junior Consultant position, 0–2 years of experience is welcome. Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds, analytical skills, internships, research experience, or relevant project experience are encouraged to apply.

· Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: GHG Protocol, ISO 14064 series, CFO, CFP, T-VER, carbon credits, MRV, Net Zero, decarbonization, LCA, ESG, or climate-related policy.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability and willingness to work with quantitative data.

· Good communication and presentation skills in Thai and English.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with data analytics, visualization or other digital tools-- AI-- is an advantage.

· Able to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

· Able to travel for project assignments when required.
