Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), ensuring security, reliability, and scalability to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud network architecture (VPC, subnets, VPN, load balancers, firewalls)
• Manage connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments (hybrid/interconnect)
• Configure and maintain security groups, firewall rules, and network policies
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to support new deployments
• Maintain network architecture documentation and runbooks
• Continuously improve network posture to meet security and compliance standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in networking or cloud infrastructure
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, load balancing)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., GCP Professional Network Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking)
• Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills
