Job Summary

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to support the firm's day-to-day compliance function and promote business growth. Working with senior management, you will help the firm and its funds meet MAS regulatory requirements, provide practical compliance advice to business units, and support new products, fundraising and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support across front, middle and back office, including investment restrictions and pre/post-trade controls.
  • Provide compliance support and sign-off for business development- new products, fund launches, marketing materials and fund documents before dissemination and lodgement.
  • Maintain compliance policies, procedures and the enterprise risk assessment track regulatory changes and implement enhancements.
  • Support regulatory reporting and the Representative Notification Framework (RNF).
  • Oversee AML/CFT compliance and the outsourced AML/KYC arrangements, supporting the MLRO function.
  • Serve as a contact point for MAS and support regulatory examinations, audits and staff training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Business, Law or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of compliance experience in asset management, fund management or related financial services.
  • Working knowledge of the SFA and applicable MAS Notices and Guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
  • Self-motivated and organised, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a retail LFMC or with retail / authorised funds familiarity with the Code on Collective Investment Schemes and the VCC framework.
  • CAMS, ICA or IBF (Compliance) certification.
  • Proficiency with compliance / portfolio systems and AI /automation tools.
