Consultant-Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, enterprise application development, and full-stack engineering to join a technology team building a modern, scalable Competitive Intelligence platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data/JPA.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and secure backend services and business workflows.
• Develop independently deployable services and integrate them using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Build secure integrations with enterprise systems and services.
• Contribute to emerging AI integration patterns such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Develop and deploy containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Work with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Helm, and Terraform.
• Support automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and production-quality engineering practices.
• Develop AI-enabled capabilities using Spring AI, LLM services, agentic workflows, and vector search.
• Build services for content ingestion, document processing, storage, and retrieval.
• Work with PostgreSQL and related data and vector-storage technologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience , with strong hands-on experience in Java
• Strong experience with Java 17+ , Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA, and enterprise application development.
• Experience designing and developing production-grade backend services and APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit, Spock, or equivalent frameworks.
• Good understanding of Git-based development, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
