In this exciting role, you will
- Conduct user research:
Employ a wide range of research methods to systematically gather comprehensive insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations at different stages of the design process. This involves planning and executing activities such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, field studies, and competitive analysis. These methods help uncover valuable information that informs the creation of user-centered and intuitive experiences.
- Analyze and interpret data:
Analyze research findings and data to extract actionable insights that can drive design decisions. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns, trends, and user pain points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
Work closely with fragrance development managers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that user needs and insights are incorporated into the design and development process.
- Develop research strategies:
Define and implement appropriate research methodologies and approaches based on project goals, timeline, and available resources.
- Plan and conduct usability testing:
Plan, facilitate, and moderate usability testing sessions to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of prototypes or existing products. Collect feedback and observations to improve the user experience.
- Create personas and user journeys:
Develop user personas, user journeys, and other user-centered artifacts to communicate research findings and help guide design decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends:
Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research methods to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of user research processes.
- Present research findings:
Present research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and through visual presentations or reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology).
- Proven experience in conducting user research and usability testing, preferably in a fragrance industry, product development or design environment.
- Proficiency in a wide range of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (THAI & ENGLISH languages), with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using research tools and software (e.g., survey tools, usability testing platforms, data analysis tools).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and across SEA affiliates.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
