  • Governance Structure & Sub-Committees: Review and maintain the compliance of the bank's organizational structure and sub-committees (e.g., Audit Committee, Risk Oversight Committee, Credit Committee), ensuring clear segregation of duties and aligned mandates.

2. Prudential Limits & Asset Compliance

  • Liquidity & Balance Sheet Compliance: Oversee regulatory compliance regarding Liquidity Risk Management, ensuring the bank maintains required thresholds for Asset-Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).
  • Market Risk & IRRBB: Review and validate policies governing Market Risk Management and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) to ensure compliance with volatile market conditions.

4. Regulatory Reporting & Financial Disclosure

  • Regulatory Report Validation: Act as the key gatekeeper for the bank's regulatory reports, ensuring all quantitative and qualitative filings submitted to the Bank of Thailand are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Financial & Accounting Alignment: Collaborate with the Finance and Internal Audit teams to ensure financial statements and accounting practices align with standard regulations (e.g., TFRS 9 / IFRS 9) and regulatory provisioning guidelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law, Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of compliance or regulatory risk experience within a commercial bank or financial institution.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Bank of Thailand (BOT) regulations, Basel III Accord, and corporate governance laws governing public financial institutions.
  • Technical Competence: Familiarity with prudential banking frameworks (LCR, NSFR, RWA calculation methods, and Single Lending Limit rules).
  • Certifications: Professional compliance certifications (e.g., International Compliance Association (ICA), or local BOT-recognized compliance certifications) are highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical operational guidelines
