Cost Accounting Officer - SCG Decor (Don Mueang)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly reports on production costs, fixed/variable cost components, inventory movement and budgeting, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective control and monitoring of production costs
• Perform data analysis to investigate discrepancies in production data and identify root causes to enable accurate and timely corrective actions
• Participate in inventory control processes, including stock reconciliation and stock adjustments to ensure accurate stock valuation and effective inventory control
• Record and maintain fixed assets (including right-of-use assets) acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, fixed asset adjustments and CAPEX budget control to ensure accurate asset valuation and compliance with accounting standards, group company policies and relevant regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve costing, inventory and fixed asset management processes to enhance operational efficiency and support further business requirement
• Supervise and monitor cost recognition, inventory control, and fixed asset management processes of overseas subsidiaries to ensure alignment with group company policies, accounting standards and relevant regulations

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
• 3 - 6 years of experience in cost accounting or related roles (experience in a manufacturing business is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly
• Resilience and time management skills to handle work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines
• Proactive and eager to learn with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (SAP is preferred)
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Able to communicate effectively in English for work purposes (TOEIC score of 550 or above)
• Be able to work at SCG Decor (Don Mueang), Bangkok.
