Job Description

Job Overview

The Creative Production & Retouch Specialist partners with our Art Director Assistant to bring YVIS's visual identity to life — on set and on screen.

This is a hybrid role: half production support, half high-end post-processing. You'll be the bridge between the live shoot and the final digital asset, making sure every piece of jewelry and every product — from our signature collections to the latest lifestyle drops — looks flawless and stays true to the YVIS aesthetic.

We move fast, so we're looking for someone who's precise under pressure, flexible when priorities shift mid-shoot, and genuinely collaborative — someone who treats the team's deadline as their own.

Key Responsibilities

1. Photoshoot Support

  • Work directly with the Art Director Assistant to translate creative concepts into reality on set.
  • Help prep products, organize props, and set up the studio.
  • Keep the shoot flowing — managing product swaps and keeping the set organized, even when the schedule moves quickly.
  • Act as the technical eyes for the Art Director: flag retouching requirements and must-fix details in real time during live shoots, so post-production stays fast and nothing gets missed downstream.

2. High-End Retouching

  • Own post-production for all photoshoot assets — high-end jewelry retouching (metal polishing, stone clarity) and product cleanup for print, web, and social use. Every image should align perfectly with the YVIS brand tone, delivered on a timeline that keeps up with our release calendar.
  • Keep the creative archive organized: all final retouched files properly labeled and easy for the team to find, fast.

3. Quality Control & Coordination

  • Be the final check — assist the visual and marketing teams in quality-checking every creative output before release, catching technical glitches or retouching errors before they go out the door.
  • Workflow Management
  • Coordinate with the Creative Project Manager to keep every retouching deadline aligned with the campaign launch calendar — in a brand that ships new content constantly, tight turnaround and clear communication matter as much as technical skill.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

  • 1–3 years experience in retouching, photo editing, or creative production — jewelry, accessory, beauty, or product photography background is a strong plus
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (frequency separation, dodge & burn, and other high-end retouching techniques); Lightroom or Capture One experience a plus
  • Solid understanding of color correction, metal/stone retouching, and file preparation for print, web, and social
  • Basic photography or on-set production experience (assisting shoots, styling, prop/product handling)
  • Organized with strong file management and naming-convention habits

Working Style

  • Comfortable working at speed and handling a high volume of photography and retouching assets across multiple shoots, launches, and shifting priorities
  • Flexible, calm, and solution-oriented when plans change — able to adapt and work through challenges together with the team
  • Detail-oriented, especially with jewelry, metal, and stone retouching where small errors are highly visible
  • Collaborative and communicative, with a team-first mindset and the ability to work closely with the Art Director Assistant and Creative Project Manager

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with jewelry or luxury/accessory brand visual standards
  • Experience retouching for e-commerce or social commerce (Shopee, Lazada, Instagram/Facebook shops)
