Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and consolidate data from external syndicated sources and retail partners.
  • Analyze sales, distribution, pricing, promotion performance, market share, and category trends.
  • Generate actionable insights to support Trade Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.
  • Monitor existing Power BI dashboards and extract insights for business use.
  • Work closely with IT/Data teams to develop or improve Power BI dashboards by providing:
  • Clear business requirements
  • Desired visualization formats
  • KPI definitions and data logic
  • Validate and test updated dashboards from IT to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Create data-driven presentations with strong storytelling to support trade proposals, business reviews, and internal meetings.
  • Support Trade Marketing in evaluating promotion efficiency, assortment performance, and customer activities.
  • Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting tools.

Job Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 14 years of experience in data analytics, trade marketing, category management, or commercial analysis, preferably in FMCG/retail environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (PivotTable, Lookups, data transformation).
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, presentation with strong storytelling and visualization skills.
  • Good analytical thinking and ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Understanding of Trade Marketing concepts: promotion mechanics, assortment, pricing, visibility, distribution.
  • Basic familiarity with Power BI (viewing dashboards, understanding measures, and visualization logic).
  • Ability to work with IT or BI teams to communicate data logic and dashboard requirements clearly.

Plus Skills (Advantages)

  • Experience working with external syndicated datasets or retailer data platforms.
  • Basic understanding of Power BI, DAX, or data modeling.
  • Ability to write basic queries (SQL or Power Query).
  • Python for data cleaning, automation, or advanced analysis.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or analytics within Modern Trade environment.

**Work location: Empire Tower onsite only (no hybrid or WFH options)
