Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, React, and FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Familiarity with Data & AI Governance frameworks, e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, ISO 42001, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and OECD AI Principles.
Professional Experience
- 58 years of work experience, with at least 3 years directly related to AI.
- Demonstrated success in leading or playing a key role in end-to-end AI and data science project delivery.
- Strong client-facing experience, including requirements gathering, expectation management, and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing Data & AI Governance projects is an advantage.
- Ability to mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to identify business challenges and translate them into AI and data-driven use cases, including defining solution roadmaps.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and develop, train, and validate machine learning models (predictive modeling, NLP, computer vision, etc.).
- Own project deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs while coordinating with cross-functional teams (data engineers, developers, business analysts).
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI and data science and apply them to drive innovation and business value.
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Data & AI Governance framework, including policies, standards, and controls.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR) and monitor evolving legal and ethical requirements.
- Develop frameworks for Responsible AI (fairness, accountability, transparency, bias mitigation).
- Define and implement processes and metrics for monitoring and improving data quality throughout its lifecycle.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries, and Data Lineage documentation to ensure data transparency and trust.
