Data Engineer (Contract)

Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design and build a data platform and tools to support analytics and data governance
• Develop and optimise data models, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions
• Deliver in-house and cloud-native data solutions that align with business needs across departments
• Create and monitor analytics dashboards for various business units
• Ensure data quality, security, and auditability through strict control measures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and follow engineering best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related
• Over 3 years of proven professional experience in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Background in using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL database
• Hands-on experience with one or more languages: Python, PL/SQL or SQL
• Experience building dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI and DAX
• Good Command of English is preferred
