Design logical and physical relational data models based on business requirements
Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services
Build and manage production-grade data workflows on BigQuery and related GCP services
Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and pipeline deployment
Optimize SQL queries and database performance to support reporting and visualization applications
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across enterprise data platforms
Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines to improve performance and scalability
Support CI/CD processes using Git and development best practices
Contribute to continuous improvements in data architecture and engineering standards
About You
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in production environments
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery
Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational database design and query optimization
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and data engineering
Experience designing relational schemas and developing ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
Knowledge of Power BI integration is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Professional proficiency in English
