- Design logical and physical relational data models based on business requirements
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services
- Build and manage production-grade data workflows on BigQuery and related GCP services
- Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and pipeline deployment
- Optimize SQL queries and database performance to support reporting and visualization applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across enterprise data platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data pipelines to improve performance and scalability
- Support CI/CD processes using Git and development best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvements in data architecture and engineering standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational database design and query optimization
- Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and data engineering
- Experience designing relational schemas and developing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of Power BI integration is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Professional proficiency in English
