Role Description The Data Governance Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Bangkok City, Thailand, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across the organization. The Data Governance Manager will oversee data quality initiatives, coordinate master data management activities, and ensure consistent data definitions and usage across systems. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, defining data ownership and stewardship, monitoring compliance with data policies, and supporting data-related risk management and regulatory requirements. The role also involves analyzing data issues, recommending improvements, and driving continuous enhancement of data management practices.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in data governance, including developing and enforcing data policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data quality and analytical skills to identify issues, define metrics, and drive remediation efforts.
• Proficiency in data management and master data management, including data modeling, metadata management, and data lifecycle processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, IT, and compliance stakeholders, to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) are an advantage.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security principles and familiarity with relevant regulations or industry standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple initiatives, and drive structured, detail-oriented execution.
