About Team& Role

The Data Quality Officer is involved in ensuring data quality standards are implemented and practiced across the enterprise. Through the Data Quality Index (DQI) and dashboard, the main role of the Data Quality Officer is to create data quality measurement, monitor and analyze data quality issues and identify solutions to enable a healthy data-oriented culture at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data quality profiling, evaluate datasets to identify potential issues and patterns of data quality issues with understanding of business definitions.
• Build Data Quality rules, mappings, workflows based in the data quality framework and requirements.
• Implement data quality monitoring and control mechanisms and define and implement data quality validations.
• Manage data quality platform effectively to undertake data quality assessments and data validation as part DQ framework.
• Engage with internal stakeholders of our data domains and support implementation of the overall data quality roadmap.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams to implement effective automation process for monitoring and tracking of data quality metrics.
• Support business engagement on data quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with data owners, IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment of governance frameworks with business and technology objectives.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in data quality management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency in using Informatica Data quality, Informatica cloud data quality, CDGC.
• Strong Understanding ETL concept and data warehouse concept.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data platforms like Databricks, Azure etc
• Understanding concepts in data analysis, data profiling, and communicating concepts and results to a variety of audiences.
• Experience in using data visualization or reporting tools i.e. Business Intelligence tool, Data Quality tool.
• Good knowledge of programming languages particularly in SQL, Statistical knowledge and Script base such as Python.
• Interested in financial industry.
• Ability to work on cross-functional units with excellent verbal & written communication skills on English skill.
• Ability to monitor job and monitoring on going BAU process.
• Ability analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management accountability and communication skills in English, with the ability to drive organizational change in data governance.
• Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
