Department Manager - Financial Reporting & Performance Insights

Key Responsibility:

Management Reporting & Performance Review

• Prepare regular management reports for assigned wholesale or retail business areas.
• Analyze performance across sales, margin, cost, inventory, working capital, productivity, budget, and profitability.
• Provide clear performance summaries, key movements, risks, opportunities, and action points for management review.
• Support monthly business review, performance meeting, and finance review materials.

Business Performance Insights

• Conduct performance deep dives to identify business drivers, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze margin movement, cost variance, inventory impact, store/channel performance, promotion impact, and profitability trends.
• Translate financial and operational data into practical insights and business recommendations.
• Work with Business Units and Operations to validate causes of performance gaps and follow up improvement actions.
• Validate financial and operational data used in management reports and dashboards.
• Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned with agreed KPI definitions and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Finance Operations, IT/Data, and Business Units to resolve data issues, mapping gaps, and reporting inconsistencies.
• Support report standardization and dashboard development led by the Financial Intelligence & Reporting Strategy team.

Forecasting & Decision Support

• Support forecast, scenario analysis, and performance outlook for assigned business areas.
• Provide input and assumptions for budget review, business cases, productivity initiatives, and investment evaluation.
• Track actual performance against forecast, budget, targets, and agreed action plans.
• Highlight early warning signals and potential financial risks to management.

Stakeholder Coordination & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with Business Units, Operations, FP&A, Accounting, Finance Excellence, and Finance Transformation teams.
• Support users in understanding reports, KPIs, dashboards, and performance insights.
• Identify opportunities to automate reports, improve data flow, and reduce manual reporting work.
• Continuously improve report relevance, usability, and actionability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial analysis, business analysis, commercial finance, or performance management.
• Experience in wholesale, retail, consumer goods, distribution, supply chain, or multi-site operations is preferred.
• Strong skills in management reporting, variance analysis, financial modeling, KPI tracking, and business performance review.
• Good understanding of wholesale or retail business drivers such as sales, margin, inventory, working capital, cost-to-serve, productivity, and profitability.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, ERP, EPM, or other reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate data into clear insight and practical recommendations.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, business partnering, and presentation skills.
• Good command of Thai and English for business reporting and presentation.
