Key Responsibility:
- Develop and execute the product development roadmap for Dry Food categories aligned with business strategy and category plans.
- Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept generation through product launch and post-launch review.
- Collaborate with Category Management, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Marketing, Regulatory, and Suppliers to ensure successful product commercialization.
- Conduct market research, customer insights analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify innovation opportunities and product improvements.
- Monitor product performance, sales, margins, quality, and customer feedback to optimize product portfolios.
- Lead supplier engagement during product development, including product specifications, costing, samples, and commercialization timelines.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout product development.
- Coach and develop team members while continuously improving product development processes and ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Product Development, Nutrition, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Experience 8–10 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Category Management, or Private Label Development within FMCG, Food Manufacturing, or Retail.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or people leadership role.
- Experience in Dry Food category development is preferred.
- Experience managing cross-functional product development projects.
