Sosei is an emerging ultra-luxury hospitality brand founded by Sonu Shivdasani, co-founder of Soneva and Six Senses. We develop small, deeply place-rooted resorts and urban properties built around wellness, longevity and craftsmanship, with a fast-growing global development pipeline.

The role

We are looking for a sharp, versatile Development Analyst to work directly alongside the Managing Director - Development. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role: you will own the analysis, research and preparation that turn opportunities into decisions, freeing the MD - Development to focus on partners, investors and growing the pipeline. You will see every live project across the portfolio and work at the centre of the business. Key aspects of the role are as follows:

• Feasibility & financial analysis — build and maintain project financial models (P&L, cash flow, returns), test assumptions, and prepare clear scenario and sensitivity analysis for investment decisions.
• Market intelligence — run competitive-set and destination research, benchmark ADR, occupancy and residential pricing, and produce gross-to-net rate bridges and sourced assumption registers.
• Proposals & presentations — draft investor and development proposals, pitch materials and board-ready decks; turn analysis into a clean, persuasive narrative.
• Pipeline & coordination — maintain the project pipeline tracker, prepare meeting materials and follow-up notes, track action items to closure, and keep contacts and project files organised.
• Executive support — manage correspondence, scheduling and document flow around the MD -- Development so priorities move without friction.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• 5–7 years overall experience, with a mandatory stint in hotels/hospitality or real estate (development, investment, feasibility, asset management, consulting or advisory).
• Excellent written and spoken English — non-negotiable; the role is heavily writing- and analysis-led.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to build a model from a blank sheet and explain the so what.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Highly organised, discreet, detail-obsessed, and comfortable owning work end-to-end with light supervision.

Skills & attributes

• A genuine growth mindset — curious, coachable, and energised by a fast-moving, build-it-from-scratch environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (modelling) and PowerPoint (storytelling).
• Fluent, thoughtful use of AI tools (e.g. large-language-model assistants) to accelerate research, analysis and drafting.

Location & terms

Based in our Bangkok office initially, with the facility to transition to a hybrid/remote arrangement over time.
