Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to maximize revenue across all channels, including direct bookings, online travel agencies (OTAs), corporate partnerships, and group sales.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, leveraging data analytics to optimize room rates and packages for different segments and seasons.
  • Foster strong relationships with key accounts and travel industry partners to secure high-value bookings.
  • Lead the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to attract new guests and drive repeat business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, support teams to ensure commercial benefits of the hotel.
  • Keeps in touch with Market trends and review/amend strategies accordingly in line with the evolving market conditions.
  • Drive Top Line Budget and Forecast through a Commercial Strategic
  • Plan that makes use of all business tools and intelligence resourcefully. Reach and exceed budget across all revenue streams,
  • Understanding the overall market – competitors strengths & weaknesses, economic trends, supply & demand, etc. and knows how to sell against them.
  • Develop a robust direct booking strategy, fostering a user-friendly website and mobile experience to convert website visitors into guests.
  • Analyze distribution channel performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Build and maintain a strong distribution network to reach target audiences and generate qualified leads.
  • Implement effective revenue management practices to ensure profitability and maximize revenue potential.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies.
  • Generate comprehensive reports to inform strategic decision-making and demonstrate the impact of commercial activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience as Director of Revenue Management in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience as Director of Sales in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Director of Sales & Marketing or Commercial Director in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
