Develop and implement the hospital's overall financial strategy, policies, and procedures from the ground up, aligning with the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic goals
Develop and manage the initial capital budget for construction, equipment procurement, and IT infrastructure
Develop and manage the comprehensive operating budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, with a strong focus on cash flow management during the start-up period
Develop financial modeling, feasibility studies, and business case development for new services, capital investments, and expansion initiatives, considering the ramp-up phase of a greenfield hospital
Advise CFO on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions, particularly concerning initial operational deficits and achieving profitability
Establish financial benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to a new hospital, monitoring performance against these metrics
Manage and control the project's cash flow, investments, and debt
Perform due diligence on the potential investors and lenders under supervision of CFO
Monitor competitor's financial performance and benchmarking
Prepare management reports (monthly, quarterly and annual reports), financial presentation for management meeting
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are an advantage
Minimum of 57 years of experience in financial analysis
Experience in the hospital industry or healthcare business is a plus

Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze financial data and prepare complex reports
Planning and Management: Skilled in budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource management
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Tableau

Problem Solving: Capable of resolving issues and making decisions in complex situations
Domain Knowledge
Understanding of hospital financial systems, such as cost management, revenue analysis from healthcare services, and cash flow management
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to healthcare and hospital businesses
