Director of Information Technology

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Information Technology to lead our technology agenda and accelerate our journey toward Digital Transformation, Smart Manufacturing, Data-Driven Operations, Automation and Practical AI.

This is a strategic leadership role for a technology executive who can bridge the gap between Business, Manufacturing, Technology and Data — turning technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

Strategic IT Leadership

• Develop and execute the IT Strategy and Digital Transformation Roadmap aligned with business and manufacturing objectives.
• Lead the organization's technology vision, priorities and investment portfolio.
• Manage IT CapEx / OpEx, budgets, technology investments and cost optimization.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across Applications, Infrastructure, Data, Cybersecurity and Automation.

IT Governance, Cybersecurity & Risk

• Establish and continuously improve IT Governance, Policies, Standards and Controls.
• Strengthen the organization's Cybersecurity, Data Governance and Technology Risk Management framework.
• Ensure technology platforms are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with business requirements.

SAP & Enterprise Applications

• Lead the development and optimization of SAP S/4HANA / ECC across the organization.
• Drive integration between SAP and manufacturing systems including MES, WMS, QC and QA.
• Lead enterprise application integration through API, middleware, databases and cloud technologies.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation will be highly advantageous.

Data & Business Intelligence

• Establish enterprise-level Data Architecture and Data Models.
• Drive a data-driven culture through Power BI and advanced analytics.
• Develop executive dashboards and analytics covering key business KPIs such as:
• Manufacturing Cost
• Yield / Scrap
• OEE
• Inventory Turnover
• Sales & Margin
• Operational Performance

Automation & Digital Process Transformation

• Identify repetitive, time-consuming and error-prone processes with high automation potential.
• Lead RPA and Intelligent Automation initiatives using technologies such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate or Automation Anywhere.
• Transform Manual Processes → End-to-End Digital Processes.
• Deliver measurable improvements in Lead Time, Productivity, Cost and Human Error Reduction.

AI & Advanced Technology

• Identify and implement Practical AI / Machine Learning opportunities that create measurable business value.
• Potential use cases include:
• Sales & Material Forecasting
• Predictive Maintenance
• Quality Inspection
• Process Optimization
• Evaluate and implement appropriate AI tools, platforms and technology partners.
• Move AI initiatives beyond experimentation and into real-world business applications.

Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0

• Drive the integration of IoT / PLC / Machine Data into enterprise data platforms.
• Enable real-time visibility across manufacturing operations.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement through technology, data and automation.
• Help build the foundation for a scalable Smart Factory / Industry 4.0 environment.

• 10–15+ years of progressive IT / Technology experience, with significant leadership responsibility.
• Previous experience as IT Manager, IT Director, Head of IT, Regional IT Director, CIO or equivalent in a medium-to-large organization.
• Strong track record in Manufacturing / Industrial environments.
• Proven leadership in Digital Transformation and ERP initiatives.
• Strong expertise in SAP, including functional understanding and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Data Analytics and Data Architecture.
• Practical experience with RPA / Process Automation.
• Strong understanding of AI / Machine Learning / Data Science from a business application perspective.
• Solid knowledge of Cloud, Database, API, System Integration and Cybersecurity.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate effectively with C-Level executives, business leaders and manufacturing teams.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to operate in a multicultural / international environment.
• Experience working with global vendors, system integrators and technology partners.
