Director of Product (Enterprise Fintech / SaaS)

Our client is a growing international enterprise software company developing a sophisticated platform used by financial-services organizations globally.

They are looking for a hands-on Director of Product to lead the design, development and adoption of complex enterprise software solutions.

This is not a traditional Product Director position focused primarily on roadmaps and people management. The successful candidate will remain directly involved in product design, requirements, prototyping, client discussions and delivery, while also developing the wider Product team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise software products and workflows.
• Translate sophisticated financial, accounting, investment and operational requirements into scalable product solutions.
• Personally work through complex workflows, calculations, business rules, edge cases and controls.
• Create detailed functional specifications that Engineering can confidently implement.
• Use AI and modern prototyping tools to rapidly validate concepts before significant development begins.
• Work closely with Engineering throughout design, development, testing and release.
• Engage directly with international customers to understand complex requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Determine whether customer requirements should become scalable platform functionality or remain client-specific configuration.
• Present and demonstrate products directly to senior customer stakeholders.
• Take ownership of features from initial problem definition through delivery, onboarding and adoption.
• Use customer feedback and product usage to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Improve onboarding and reduce unnecessary manual implementation through better product capabilities and automation.
• Lead, mentor and develop Product Managers and Business Analysts.
• Establish strong standards around product analysis, specifications, prototyping and delivery.

Required Experience

• Approximately 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within complex B2B or enterprise software.
• Significant experience personally designing and delivering products rather than solely managing Product teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into software solutions.
• Comfortable working with financial calculations, data, workflows and detailed business logic.
• Strong experience working closely with software engineering teams.
• Ability to produce detailed product and client specifications.
• Experience using AI tools for product design, prototyping or software development.
• Strong customer-facing and presentation capabilities.
• Experience driving product adoption, implementation or customer onboarding.
• Excellent professional English, both written and spoken.

The ideal candidate is a senior product professional who still enjoys getting into the details. You should be comfortable moving from a conversation with a senior customer into business-process analysis, product design, AI-assisted prototyping, detailed specifications and technical discussions with Engineering.

You will combine strategic product judgment with the willingness and ability to personally solve difficult product problems.
