Role Overview

We are seeking an EHS Engineer to support and drive Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives within a multinational manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, this role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
Drive environmental compliance activities, including waste management, disposal processes, documentation, and sustainability initiatives.
Conduct EHS assessments, audits, and inspections, identifying risks and recommending preventive and corrective actions.
Investigate workplace incidents, analyze safety data and trends, and implement initiatives to reduce accidents and improve safety performance.
Review safety requirements for new equipment, machinery, PPE, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and safety committees.
Coach and support internal stakeholders to strengthen EHS awareness, engagement, and continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Safety, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related fields.
Minimum 4 years of EHS experience within a multinational manufacturing environment.
Holder of National Safety Engineer Certificate.
Holder of Registered Safety Officer Certificate.
Certified ISO 14001 Internal Auditor.
Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, Safety Compliance, Risk Assessment, and Accident Investigation.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, proactive, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
