Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and control the installation of electrical equipment, including power transformers, switchgear, control panels, protection systems, cables and grounding systems.

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on technical issues, construction progress, and site activities.

• Support testing, commissioning, inspection and troubleshooting of 115kV/22kV substation systems.

• Prepare progress reports, technical documents, inspections records and as-built drawings in English.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Male, Age 28 - 40 years old.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

• Professional Engineering License.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction projects, preferably in 115kV/22kV substation projects.

• Proficient in using Autodesk Revit for electrical design coordination, 3D modeling and clash detection.

• Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software effectively.

• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, including power transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, protection relays, control systems and grounding systems.

• Experience in reviewing electrical drawings, specifications single-line diagrams and construction methods.

• Ability to supervise installation, testing, commissioning and quality control of electrical systems.

• Familiarity with applicable electrical standards and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, PEA, EGAT or relevant local standards.

• Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to prepare technical reports, communicate with client, consultants and internation suppliers.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary construction teams.

• Strong problem-solving coordination and project management skills.
