Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical construction activities for data center projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover
- Develop electrical construction plans, method statements, schedules, and manpower plans
- Coordinate closely with civil, mechanical, ICT, and commissioning teams to ensure integrated delivery
- Monitor progress, productivity, and quality of electrical works against project milestones
- Oversee installation of MV/LV power distribution systems UPS systems and battery banks Diesel generators and fuel systems Busducts, cable trays, and structured cabling Grounding, bonding, and lightning protection systems Ensure compliance with IFC drawings, specifications, and approved shop drawings
- Resolve site technical issues, RFIs, and constructability challenges
- Enforce electrical QA/QC procedures, inspections, and testing plans
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA), and data center best practices
- Lead electrical commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated testing
- Maintain strict adherence to HSE standards, including LOTO and energized work procedures
- Support cost control, change management, and variation assessments
- Review subcontractor claims, progress payments, and variations
- Assist in procurement planning and evaluation of electrical vendors and subcontractors
- Manage electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site engineers
- Chair electrical coordination and progress meetings
- Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and utility providers
- Mentor and develop electrical engineering staff on site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical systems for Data Centers, mission-critical facilities, hospitals, or large-scale industrial/commercial buildings.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of power systems, UPS, generators, and redundancy architectures.
- Proven ability to review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Solid experience in project management, vendor management, and budget control.
- Good command of Thai and English for technical communication and reporting.
- Professional Engineering License is a strong advantage.
- Experience with TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier standards, or ISO systems is preferred.
