Role Description

This is a part-time and dedicated remote role for English to Thai translation quality assurance of a long term UI/UX translation in ICT industry. Deliver high-quality translations, reviews, and QA services; Conduct thorough research and follow project instruction diligently;Perform final quality checks to eliminate basic errors; Implement feedback from reviewers or project managers promptly.

Responsibilities

•  Review translations submitted by linguists to ensure they meet quality standards, and report errors in a timely manner.
• Support internal quality audits and cross-checks, and provide suggestions on quality management and implementation.
• Assist with client-side quality reviews and audits, and potentially participate in quality-related communication with the client.
• Provide support for translation and/or proofreading tasks when required.
• Be able to handle tasks with relatively tight turnaround times. 

Qualifications

• Freelancers ONLY. At least 4-6 hrs per day to support this project online.
• Bachelor degree or above; Chinese conversation ability is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven EN-TH quality assurance, translation and review experience in the ICT domain, especially UI/UX content for consumer electronics.
• Proficiency in CAT tools; willingness to work on GienTrans, GienTech's proprietary translation platform
• Reliability in responding to urgent task requests
• Wechat/Email is preferred to use during the cooperation
• A free short test is available
