Energy Storage After-sales Service Engineer – Thailand

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support of residential energy storage systems (ESS) in Thailand.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, installers, distributors, and service partners.
• Diagnose system issues involving inverters, batteries, BMS, EMS, communication systems, and related electrical equipment.
• Support system testing, commissioning, acceptance, and troubleshooting to ensure stable and reliable operation.
• Handle customer technical cases, follow up on issues, and ensure timely problem resolution and closure.
• Provide technical training and guidance to distributors, installers, and customers when required.
• Prepare service reports, troubleshooting records, and other technical documentation.
• Work closely with HQ R&D, Product, Sales, and local teams to resolve technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Travel within Thailand to support customer sites and project delivery as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in after-sales service, commissioning, maintenance, or technical support.
• Experience with residential energy storage, solar PV, inverters, batteries, or related electrical products is highly preferred.
• Familiar with electrical schematics and basic power system principles.
• Experience with BMS, EMS, PCS/inverters, and communication protocols is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Thai native speaker with good English communication skills; Chinese is a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently within Thailand.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with residential ESS / hybrid inverter systems.
• Experience working with local distributors or installers.
• Experience in customer-facing technical support.
• Experience in the renewable energy or energy storage industry.
