Engineer - AWS Application Developer

This role is a part of the team that owns the E2E (End-to-End) architecture to deliver GF's collaborative and centralized Design-to-Product (D2P) environment for customers that is cloud-enabled and fully leverages GF's platform strategy and technologies.

Your Job

• Develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using the AWS platform.
• Work with other developers, Architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Create and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
• Follow best practices in AWS development and maintain an understanding of the latest developments in cloud computing.

Required Qualifications:   

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/Electrical Engineering/Electronics engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in application development using core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS
• Experience with web applications, cloud-native applications, and cloud-based applications
• Experience in managing and monitoring AWS infrastructure using a monitoring stack such as Cloudwatch or similar.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Terraform
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or similar.
• Understanding of containerization and container orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications  

• AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Developer or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of the agile development methodology
• Knowledge/working with Semi-conductor domain (Foundry) is an added plus.
