Job Description

Country Sales Director

  • We're looking for a senior Country Director to lead business in Thailand. This is a country-leadership seat in everything but title: you will own the Thailand business plan and the number behind it, decide where we invest and which accounts we pursue, and personally lead the large, multi-stakeholder programmes that take Thai enterprises from fragmented data estates to trusted,

  • AI-ready data and analytics. We're hiring because Thailand's largest organisations, across banking, telecoms, energy, manufacturing and retail, are investing heavily in data modernisation and AI. We want a proven senior seller who can open doors at the top, shape those programmes from the start, and build franchise in the country for the long term.

What makes this role interesting

  • Run Thailand as your own business. You write and own the country plan, set account and partner priorities, and direct how presales, professional services, marketing and partners are deployed against it. You get the authority and visibility of a country lead, with the full backing of APAC organisation.
  • Sell big, strategic programmes. The portfolio spans data integration, data quality, governance, analytics and AI. You'll be selling enterprise-wide data foundations, not point tools: multi-year, multi-product, multi-stakeholder deals that change how a customer operates.
  • Work at the top of the account. Your counterparts are CIOs, CDOs, CFOs and business unit heads. You'll be a trusted advisor on their data and AI agenda rather than a vendor in a procurement process.
  • The challenge: you'll be building, not inheriting. You'll need to win new strategic logos while growing the installed base, develop a partner ecosystem that sources and delivers with you, and compete against large platform vendors and hyperscalers for the same executive attention.
  • The problem we're solving: Thai enterprises run complex, hybrid data landscapes spanning core and legacy systems, ERP, and multiple clouds, and struggle to turn them into reliable data for AI and decision-making. We need senior, accountable leadership in-country to turn that opportunity into a scaled and predictable business.

Core Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Enterprise Leader in Thailand, you'll be accountable for turning market opportunity into a growing, predictable business.
  • Build, own and deliver the Thailand business plan, including bookings, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy and account strategy, and report on it with credibility to APAC leadership.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for Thailand's largest enterprises, building the business case for each and mapping the path from first conversation to enterprise-wide agreement.
  • Lead large, complex opportunities end to end: shape the vision with the customer, structure the commercial deal, and navigate procurement, legal and security.
  • Build and sustain relationships with C-level and board-level executives, positioning the brand around their business and AI priorities.
  • Orchestrate a virtual team across presales, professional services, customer success, marketing and BDRs, and build the partner ecosystem (system integrators, resellers and technology alliances) as a multiplier for the business.
  • Grow and protect the installed base through expansion and renewals, and act as the visible face of company's brand in Thailand at industry events and executive forums.

Job Specifications

  • A long track record selling enterprise software solutions (data, analytics, integration, AI, cloud or comparable platforms) at senior level.
  • Proven experience running a country business plan: owning the number, pipeline and forecast, and making resourcing and investment decisions, at country manager or country director scope.
  • A history of building and closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals, with consistent over-achievement against quota.
  • Established access to, and credibility with, senior executives in large Thai organisations across sectors such as financial services, telecoms, energy, manufacturing and retail.
  • Ability to harness value from cross functional teams across Business Development Reps, Marketing, Presales, Customer Success Managers, Professional Services, Value engineering, etc.
  • Experience building partner ecosystems and leading virtual teams without direct authority.
  • Strong business-value selling skills and a disciplined approach to qualification and forecasting.
  • Fluency in Thai and English, written and spoken.
