Environmental Health Safety Specialist

About the Role

Galaxy Peak Data Center Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor to manage and oversee EHS operations at our Data Center in Ban Chang, Rayong. The successful candidate will ensure that all employees, contractors, and service providers comply with company policies, Thai legal requirements, and internationally recognized EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental, Health, and Safety activities within the Data Center in compliance with company policies, Thai laws, and applicable regulations.

• Supervise employees, contractors, and external service providers to ensure compliance with safety standards, the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, and Data Center safety requirements.

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses and establish preventive measures for electrical work, working at height, confined-space work, and other high-risk activities.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the EHS management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

• Support internal and external audits and ensure the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions.

• Plan and conduct safety training, emergency response drills, fire-prevention activities, and safety-awareness programs for employees and contractors.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions, and near misses, including conducting root-cause analyses and preparing investigation reports.

• Monitor EHS performance, maintain relevant documentation, and prepare regular reports for management.

• Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

• A valid Professional Safety Officer Certificate (จป.วิชาชีพ) recognized under Thai law is mandatory.

• At least five years of experience in EHS management, workplace safety, or a related position.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

• In-depth understanding of applicable Thai EHS laws, regulations, and standards.

• Experience in a Data Center, industrial facility, construction project, or other high-risk working environment is preferred.

• Strong planning, coordination, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Chinese-language proficiency will be considered an advantage.
