About the role - you will:

  • Supports the design and development of automated mechanical systems, often includes a mix of technical, creative, and collaborative tasks.
  • Perform and participate in building prototypes and assembling mechanical systems.
  • Conduct functional tests to validate design performance and reliability.
  • Document test results and suggest improvements.

About you:

  • Self-motivated and process strong learning towards new technologyand skillsets
  • A positive mindset with a can-do attitudeto challenge the impossible
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to effectively work independantly.
  • Able to commit a full time internship

Your experience includes:

  • Currently Pursuing Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field or any similar engineering background.
  • Proficiency in CAD: SolidWorks (parts/assemblies/drawings), AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics, linkages, motion systems.
  • Knowledge in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM will be highly regarded.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work. Here at work, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at our onsite canteen and coffee shop. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions.
