ERP Technical Lead

Responsibilities :

1. System Stability

• SAP Basis monitoring & performance tuning.
• Job & interface management.
• Proactive system health check.

2. SAP Notes & Proactive System Maintenance

• Review and assess SAP Notes, Hot News, and Security Notes regularly.
• Track End of Maintenance / End of Support for each component.
• Monitor SAP Early Watch Alert (EWA) and act on recommendations.
• Ensure all SAP - notified updates / actions are reviewed and addressed promptly.

3. Development Governance

• Coordinate ABAP development, transport, and release management.
• Code review and quality assurance.
• Enforce development standards.

4. Technical Advisory & Solution Design

• Provide technical consultation to business users, project teams, and team members.
• Review and approve technical designs for interfaces, integrations, and customizations.
• Advise on upgrade paths, migration strategies, and system landscape.

5. Operation Support

• Incident management, issue resolution, system support.
• Coordinate with IT team of subsidiaries.
• Root cause analysis for recurring issues.

6. Vendor Management

• Vendor coordination and follow - up. Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
• Vendor performance monitoring. Vendor performance reviewed and documented quarterly.

7. Authorization & Security Compliance

• System security monitoring.
• User access and role management.
• Security patch management.

8. Audit & Control

• ITGC, audit support, compliance monitoring.
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) review.

9. Team Leadership & Knowledge Management

• Maintain knowledge base, technical documentation, and runbooks.
• Cross - training and backup resource planning.

10. Backup, DR & Business Continuity

• Verify backup jobs and perform restore tests.
• Develop and test DR plan on scheduled basis.

11. Capacity Planning & Performance Optimization

• Monitor system growth, database size, and dialog response times.
• Forecast capacity and plan resources in advance.

12. Project Delivery & Change Management

• Lead or support SAP projects (upgrade, enhancement, new module rollout).
• Manage large - scale changes without impacting production.

13. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Propose system improvements, automation, and optimization initiatives.
• Track SAP roadmap (S / 4HANA, BTP, Cloud) for longterm planning.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Software Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis and Authorization, with hands - on production support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business users and functional teams
• Experienced in vendor management and coordination
• Basic understanding of ABAP and ability to coordinate development activities (nice to have)
• Knowledge of SAP BASIS, Authorization, ABAP, SUSE Linux
