Responsibilities

• Oversee ethnic distributors, specialty retailers, and food service customers in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Develop strategies for the ethnic channel, including customer segmentation and route-to-market plans.
• Drive sales growth, expand product offerings, and enhance store coverage within the ethnic channel.
• Act as the main coordinator with headquarters for product communication, requests, new product development inputs, and launch readiness.
• Consolidate feedback from distributors and customers to formulate clear new product development proposals for review.
• Collaborate with Korea headquarters and R&D on product concepts, specifications, and timelines for ethnic market opportunities.
• Partner with the Marketing team to create launch communications and campaign materials tailored for the ethnic channel.
• Work alongside the Trade Marketing and Sales teams on pricing, promotional strategies, and channel activation for ethnic product launches.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, Finance, and regulatory teams to ensure readiness for imports and compliance with documentation requirements.
• Prepare monthly reviews of the ethnic channel and new product opportunities, assessing sales performance, product gaps, and necessary follow-ups.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3-7 years of experience in FMCG, food sales, distributor management, or portfolio development.
• Experience in specialty retail or management within the Asian food sector is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Korean is required to facilitate communication and coordination with headquarters.
• Experience in both strategic planning and hands-on management of distributor relations and follow-ups.
