Company Description Celes Samui is a lifestyle beachfront resort located on one of the longest stretches of sand on Koh Samui's Bophut Beach, offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand and Koh Phangan. Role Description The FB Manager (Food & Beverage Manager) is a full-time, on-site role based at Celes Samui in Ko Samui. This position oversees all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, and special events, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. The FB Manager plans menus in coordination with the culinary team, manages cost control and inventory, and monitors daily operations to maintain efficiency and consistency. This role also leads and trains the FB team, manages scheduling, and supports staff development to uphold the resort's service culture. The FB Manager collaborates closely with other departments to coordinate promotions, handle guest feedback, and ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the property.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in food and beverage management within hotels or resorts, including oversight of restaurant and bar operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and coach a diverse workforce.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and basic financial reporting for FB operations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and relevant hospitality regulations.
  • Ability to plan and execute menus, promotions, and events in collaboration with culinary and marketing teams.
  • Fluency in English; other languages is an advantage.
  • Relevant education in hospitality management, tourism, business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience working in a beachfront or resort environment is a plus, with an appreciation for Thai hospitality and local culture.
