Finance Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturing company with established operations in Thailand and a strong presence in the food industry. As part of its continued business expansion, the company is setting up a new manufacturing facility and is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to establish and lead the finance function at the plant.

Role: Finance Manager – New Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall Finance function for a newly established manufacturing plant, covering FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Partner with Plant Management and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, cost optimisation, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, accounting coordination and compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, product costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation and analysis of key production cost drivers.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights and corrective recommendations to management.
• Establish and monitor financial KPIs, internal controls and risk management processes across inventory, manufacturing costs, CAPEX and operational spending.
• Lead, manage and develop the Finance team while promoting accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Drive finance process improvement, automation, digitalisation and ERP-related initiatives to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support CAPEX and strategic projects through financial modelling, feasibility studies, ROI analysis and investment evaluation, while ensuring compliance with relevant operational and regulatory standards.

Who We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Cost Accounting or Manufacturing Finance, with 3–5+ years in a finance leadership role.
• Strong experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Solid knowledge of standard costing, product costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation and manufacturing cost control.
• Experience in CAPEX evaluation, financial modelling, feasibility studies and ROI analysis.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and business partnering skills, with experience managing and developing a Finance team.
• Good command of English and experience with ERP systems and finance process improvement initiatives.
