Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end finance and accounting function for an international business services company. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring a very strong accounting foundation, combined with the ability to think strategically and partner with the leadership team on the long-term direction of the company.
The role works closely with a Regional Finance Director overseas and operates in a multicultural environment, collaborating effectively across Thai and expatriate teams.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Leadership
- Own the end-to-end finance and accounting function, including GL, AP/AR, tax, and statutory compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with local regulations and group policies
- Act as the technical accounting expert for the business
Strategic & Commercial Support
- Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy, planning, and decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Provide clear financial insights to support growth and operational efficiency
- Align local financial operations with regional and group strategy
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Lead, develop, and manage a high performing finance and accounting team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management
- Report directly to the Regional Finance Director (overseas)
- Work comfortably across Thai and expatriate cultures, communicating clearly and professionally
- Collaborate with highly capable, intellectually strong colleagues across the group
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Head of Finance / Finance Director / Senior Finance Manager)
- Very strong accounting background (hands-on, technical)
- Experience from business services, professional services, or similar environments preferred
- Strong experience managing end-to-end finance operations
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working in an international, matrix reporting structure
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking
