The Role

We're looking for a Finance Officer to join our Accounting and Finance Department, reporting to the Accounting Director. This role is central to keeping BE8's cash position accurate and well-managed — from daily cash reporting to foreign exchange transactions that support both operations and hedging.

What You'll Do

• Prepare periodic cashflow reports and manage cash surplus or deficit, including daily cash balance reports and weekly/monthly cashflow forecasts
• Prepare lending and borrowing documentation and accurately record transactions in the system
• Manage foreign exchange (FX) transactions to optimize gains and minimize losses on exchange rate movements, covering both operating and hedging activities
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Finance leadership

Key Measurement Areas

• Cashflow reports submitted on time and accurately
• Accurate documentation and transaction recording
• FX transactions properly prepared and tested for effectiveness
• Achievement of functional goals and targets

Key Challenges

• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports to support management decisions at any moment
• Staying up to date with FX market movements and proposing sound solutions to management

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
• Knowledge of FX and hedging markets is a strong plus
• Familiarity with taxation and BOI regulations is a plus
• Working knowledge of accounting standards
• Experience with Odoo or similar ERP/accounting systems is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and coordination skills across teams
• Solid time management skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
