Job Description
- Lead all finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage month-end, year-end, statutory reporting, and audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
- Maintain strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Partner with commercial and operational leaders to support business growth and profitability.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Support pricing strategies, investment evaluations, profitability analysis, and business case development.
- Participate in strategic planning activities and operational performance reviews.
- Coordinate legal and compliance matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support contract management, corporate governance requirements, licenses, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the local coordinator for HR and people-related activities in partnership with regional teams.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee administration processes.
- Oversee local office administration and relationships with external service providers.
- Manage relationships with banks, insurers, landlords, and key external partners.
- Lead, coach, and develop the local finance and administration team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and business support functions.
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Background within multinational manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting controls, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proven experience partnering with commercial and business leaders to support decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Exposure to legal, HR, payroll, or administrative responsibilities would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance or cross-functional teams.
- Strong ERP system knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience with planning and reporting systems; familiarity with Workday is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent communication skills in both Thai and English.
