Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fund Manager-Thai role based in Bangkok. The Fund Manager will be responsible for managing private funds and portfolios, focusing on Thai and regional investments across equities and fixed income. Daily activities include conducting fundamental and quantitative research, analyzing market trends, assessing risk, and making buy/sell/hold decisions aligned with client objectives and risk profiles. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, rebalancing positions, preparing investment proposals, and presenting strategies and results to internal stakeholders and clients. The Fund Manager will collaborate with research to integrate market insights, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the development of new investment products.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills-Assset Allocation, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and data interpretation for outlook.
- Experience in investments and investment management, particularly in portfolio construction and asset allocation.
- Solid knowledge of finance, capital markets, and financial instruments relevant to Thai and regional markets.
- Practical expertise in equities, including security selection, valuation, and performance monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications-Fund License are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills for client and internal presentations.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial analysis tools; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms is preferred.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in asset allocation management, outlook securities analysis within a financial institution in Thailand is highly beneficial.
