Overview
Lead and drive the overall
HPE business to maximize revenue growth, profitability, market share, and business performance in alignment with Ingram Micro's strategic objectives and HPE's business priorities.
This person is responsible for setting and executing the overall HPE business strategy, covering sales, marketing, pricing, inventory, channel development, and go-to-market initiatives. The role owns the overall financial performance and P&L of the HPE business and works closely with HPE, internal teams, and channel partners to identify growth opportunities and deliver sustainable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Have overall responsibility for the HPE business strategy and business performance, including revenue, gross profit, profitability, and market growth.
- Develop and execute the overall Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for HPE, covering sales, marketing, pricing, inventory, channel development, and business growth initiatives.
- Own the overall P&L and financial performance of the HPE business, ensuring business plans and financial targets are achieved.
- Lead, manage, and develop the HPE sales and business organization to achieve business objectives and performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with HPE, key partners, resellers, and customers, acting as a senior point of contact for strategic business matters.
- Work closely with HPE to develop joint business plans, identify market opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives to expand HPE's market presence.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging technologies, and growth areas across the HPE portfolio, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Hybrid Cloud, and HPE GreenLake.
- Lead strategic negotiations with HPE and key partners to secure favorable commercial terms, pricing, incentives, and business agreements.
- Monitor and manage sales pipeline, forecasting, market share, inventory, and overall business performance.
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Presales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of the HPE business strategy.
- Oversee marketing initiatives, promotions, and demand generation activities to drive business growth and channel engagement.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and business insights to identify opportunities and adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Ensure strong execution and accountability across the organization to achieve agreed business objectives and financial targets.
- Represent Ingram Micro in strategic vendor, partner, and industry meetings and events.
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong knowledge of the IT technology and distribution industry, with a deep understanding of HPE's portfolio and solutions.
- Strong understanding of HPE Compute, Storage, Networking, Hybrid Cloud, and HPE GreenLake is preferred.
- Proven business and financial acumen with experience managing P&L, revenue, gross profit, and profitability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales and business teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans.
- Strong understanding of channel business, reseller ecosystem, and partner management.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding business objectives.
- Ability to analyze market and business data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for vendor meetings, partner engagements, customer meetings, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in IT sales, business development, vendor management, distribution, or related technology industries.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role managing a large business, sales organization, or technology portfolio.
- Strong experience managing revenue, P&L, gross profit, forecasting, and overall business performance.
- Strong experience working with HPE and/or other leading technology vendors in an IT distribution, channel, or System Integrator environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing Go-to-Market strategies and driving business growth.
- Strong network and relationships with IT channel partners, resellers, and enterprise customers.
- Experience leading and developing sales and business teams.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
