XPONENTIAL is the innovation arm of the Siam Piwat Group, located right next to the Siam BTS in Bangkok. We're the masterminds behind the ONESIAM SUPERAPP and are on a mission to build a kick-ass AI driven SaaS platform that will revolutionize the digital landscape for consumers and business partners, with our office directly at Siam BTS.

What We Need:

We are seeking an AI Engineer to help shape and accelerate our AI-driven future. This role is part of the AI Center of Excellence, driving the nucleus of the Groups shift to AI, within a startup and execution focused environment. Focus on AI, Agentic, and the framework driving both, to reinvent Siam Piwat Group and our Shopping Centers.

You will be a hands-on technical leader, exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies while building scalable, AI-powered platforms including AI applications, Analytics, Targeting, Ad generation, but also operations improvements, etc. From designing AI-enabled data pipelines to applying large language models to real business problems, you will be a key driver in turning data and AI innovation into measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Build & Apply AI Solutions: Explore, prototype, and implement AI (LLMs) solutions using Google Vertex AI (Gemini) and other leading open-source AI frameworks tailored to real business use cases.
• Engineer Self-Improving Agentic Systems: Design and build autonomous, self-improving Agentic AI workflows using modern SDKs and frameworks, incorporating architectural guardrails and feedback loops to ensure safety, reliability, and continuous learning in production.
• Engineer for Production: Design and develop robust AI, Agentic, and Data solutions using Python, Java, or similar languages, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Translate Business to Technology: Partner closely with Product Owners to convert complex business challenges into effective AI-powered technical solutions.
• Advance the AI Innovation: Continuously research emerging AI, ML, and AI technologies, assessing their potential value and driving adoption where it creates competitive advantage.
• Build AI-powered Data Platforms: Design and maintain an AI-powered marketing platform by integrating behavioral data from multiple sources (e.g., Snowplow), managing data warehouses on BigQuery, and ensuring data quality and integrity

Your Qualifications:

• Strong Engineering Foundation: Solid programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages, with strong proficiency in SQL.
• AI & ML Expertise: A strong background in traditional AI and machine learning, with hands-on experience using Generative AI frameworks and libraries demonstrated by building production-grade AI systems in real-world business environments.
• Agentic Frameworks & Architecture: Proven expertise in building self-improving Agentic AI systems using frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI), with a strong grasp of implementing architectural guardrails and safety layers for complex enterprise tasks.
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Problem Solver: Proven ability to break down complex business problems and design practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with data warehousing and data pipeline development and large-scale data processing (BigQuery experience is a strong plus)
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
