The organization is seeking an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer to partner with the executive leadership team in driving sustainable growth, enhancing business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the enterprise.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a commercially minded finance executive with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in complex FMCG or consumer-focused organizations.

The successful candidate will be able to connect financial strategy with business outcomes, influence senior stakeholders, and lead finance teams across multiple functions. Experience working closely with commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and retail operations will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance strategy and governance framework for the organization.
• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to support business growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across business units.
• Oversee core finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business transformation projects.
• Collaborate with commercial, sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and retail teams to improve business performance and optimize resource allocation.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, investors, auditors, banking partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA or professional finance qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior leadership roles within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, retail, or related industries.
• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning, business partnering, governance, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of commercial finance, pricing, profitability analysis, revenue growth management, and business strategy.
• Experience supporting both manufacturing operations and retail or route-to-market environments.
• Proven capability to influence senior executives and lead cross-functional decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience presenting to executive committees or boards.
• Experience in large-scale business transformation, digital finance initiatives, or process optimization would be advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills.
